Question: Can I customize and brand my own copy of the WebPosition executable?
Answer: Affiliates will no longer have the ability to brand the WebPosition software. The files will now be served from WebPosition/WebTrends severs, and the unique Affiliate Tracking URL will be logged when the customer access WebPosition designated web pages and/or registers for the trial download. The main benefit of this change is that the executable will always be signed by WebPosition so your clients will not receive the popup questioning if the file should be trusted which has been an issue for customers. We have also found that download performance from Affiliate sites has been slow which also has had a negative impact on user perception of WebPosition. In summary, we are looking to provide WebPosition customers with the best user experience possible which we believe will help maximize our and our Affiliate's revenues. [ Back to top ]
